Ted Post

1. The organization of the TED website is to incorperate new sciences and new designs to help people try to change the world for a better place were we are more enviromentally friendly and technologically smarter.
2. Their purpose of the website is to incoperate natural science and technology in order to create a more natural and enviromentally friendly world that is also technologically andvanced, their website does a great job of this by giving links to science videos and technology videos.
3. The sections that relate to us engineers are technology, science, and design sections.
4. Michael Pawlyn Using Nature's Genius in Architecture, we would use this video because you use architecture and design elements in engineering. Cynthia Breazeal The Rise of Personal Robots, we would use this because the thought and the design elements that go into making a robot are those that we use. Thomas Thwaits How I Built a Toaster -- From Scratch, would apply to us because we as engineer's build things from scratch and use design elements to create objects.

• This video uses the idea of creating one building that deposits its waste and on the wastes way to another building it would be turned into organic material and the other building could use it.
• Also, it talks about how everything is connected and how we can create a never ending cycle of life and death and can incoperate it to perserve life and help the world.

6. I can get involved by helping to create a building or an abject that helps to preserve our enviroment and to help mankind become a more natural and enviromentally friendly world.

Adds....?

• Yes, we should allow adds to be on our blogs, it doesnt cost you anything to have a add on your blog, they actually pay you to have their add on your blog.
• The main point in our blog is to get our view point on certain issues and how we would handle these issues or what we would agree on, also we use our blogs to discuss important things that have happened in history and to explain how they happened. So yes, adds would help, if they are on the right subject, it can go with what you are writing about, also sometimes pop ups will be with adds and they can lead people to your blogs.
• A person makes money off an add every time that a person clicks on that add, you will get money on a monthly basis just for having it because then people who visit your blog will see their product and might buy it.

Graphic Design

1. My advertisement came from one of the engineering magazines from the engineering library in Mr. Olsens classroom.
2. This advertisement is trying to market a new car to try and sell to the mass consumers being people who work and need a car for transportation.
3. We have both noticed that they use bright colors and nice features in order to try and show the new improvements made and to catch the consumers eyes. They use the image because as they say an image says a thousand words and they try to captivate this feelings of inguinity and show how new it is and the advanced featuresof the product.

• My product is used to graph and do math problems, it has a screen to view what you are typing, and buttons that perform operations and hit things inside the device to make things show up on the screen.
• Shape- It has a kind of rounded rectangle shape that enables you to hold it and be able to operate it.
•  Color- The color black is a modern color that any gender could use and it stands out.
• Proportion/scale- They use this to make sure that all the buttons fit and are working properly and work without ease.

1. The function of this product is to do math problems and give you the proper answers that are correct. Yes this item works properly and it does all the functions it was designed to do, it does the math and even solves for unknown variables.
2. The purpose of this object is to make doing math an easier task and take doing the small work with big numbers easier. The buttons enable you to enter the numbers into the calculator and also allow you to do the function you need to do with those numbers. It is relatively easy to figure out how to use and it comes with instructions if you need them.
3. The target audience is for kids in highschool or adults that are in college and that are in a math class. It is used to solve problems and can even graph x and y coordinates.

A: Technological advances that brought about a change in the government were the internet, cell phones, and the radio. The internet was used to distribute information about the revolt to people all around the world. Cell phones could be used to help communicate with other people particpating in the revolt. Lastly, the radio was used to keep people updated on recent activity and to inform people about the situation and get people to help.























A:  No i do not speak Arabic, but i think it would be a usefull language to learn.
